How do you know if you are a food addict? Firstly, you need to keep a food mood journal because you need to track what you eat and how you feel. Secondly, you need to see the correlation between and food there. Thirdly, you will need to learn how to break the addictive cycle. For some food addiction and sugar, addiction is emotional eating. For others, food addiction and sugar addiction is chemical and creates quite a detox on the body similar to heroin.  These detox symptoms include foggy brain, headaches, irritability, tiredness, insomnia, restless leg syndrome, nausea, itchiness, and more.
